Describe your books/your writing for the readers.
I write Contemporary M/M Romance.

What is something that makes you unique (personally or within your writing)?
I find laughter in most situations, so I mostly write romantic comedy.

Tell us about your writing process. Where do your ideas come from? Do you plan/plot or totally wing it?
Most of my plots are based on real life people and settings that I know. I am a mixture of a pantser and a plotter. Before I begin writing a story I have a very loose outline that I stray from by chapter 6.

What was an early experience where you learned that language had power?
This is a difficult question, so I’m giving you two answers. The first is that my father worked in publishing and would bring home books all the time. That transformed my view of the world. The second answer is I came from an extremely dysfunctional family and books and words were my escape. They had the power to trigger my imagination and for a few hours every day I would be in my happy place.

What is your favorite childhood book?
You asked for it, and it will shock many of you. When I was 8 or 9 years old I was at a grocery store with my mother. She didn’t care about books one way or another. I had been begging for a new book to read so she grabbed a paperback off of the stand next to the cash register and bought it for me. That book was called Scruples by Judith Krantz. For the late seventies, it was extremely high steam and I learned all about gloryholes and divas.
